Energy-Saving
My medicine cabinet in the master bath has the large round vanity bulbs. They have been dying over the last year. All of the other bulbs in my house have been now replaced with energy-saving bulbs, so I held off until enough died to buy a 3-pack of the energy saving vanity bulbs that GE now makes. However, they make a sound. I have a sensitive ear for high-pitched sounds and when the lights are on, there is a light "whine." So now, I am forced to decide. Can I deal with the sound? Do I just replaced them with the funky-looking regular energy-savers, since noone besides Flavia and myself really sees the master bath anyway? Do I try and find a different company's bulbs that are quieter?
