Video Games: Final Fantasy Tactics re-make and FFVI for GBA!
Without a doubt, my favorite Final Fantasy was Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1, and it was mainly because of the amazing story. Tactics had more emotion and depth than all three of the other PS1 Final Fantasy games combined. (Keep in mind that I am a big fan of FFVII and am currently re-playing FFIX, so I already think very highly of those games.) The story has tons of twists and turns and a rich backdrop of political intrigue. So, you can understand why I'm excited to find that Square Enix is re-releasing it for the PSP and the re-make will feature fully animated cut scenes to tell the story instead of using the in-game graphics as the original did. It may not be enought to get me to buy a PSP, but it's the first thing other than "Vice City Stories" that has tempted me. The trailer for the FFT remake is here, including a lot of footage from the animated cut scenes which kept the graphical style of the original and animated it for a really cool look.
I also just learned that Final Fantasy VI, another one of my favorites is finally getting a GBA re-make. Now, if they'd just re-make FFVII for DS....
